Hurricane donald ravaged much of the country yesterday. The effects are still being felt and talked about. I dont know about you, i dont know about your world, but i feel like this is the only thing anyone talks about. Trump and maybe game of thrones. Thats it. Weather ive been in. Back in 1997, i started as a reporter in yuma, arizona. And 114 was nothing strange. Cake walk, right. It was difficult because i was not accustomed to the heat and i was a onewoman band. Shot my own video and carried my own tripod. The tiny news car had no ac. It was treacherous. Makeup would slide off my face. It was it was very, very difficult. It wasnt just uncomfortable. Difficult. I worked in arizona too. We have this stretch that were going through here. Arizona, it was two months of 100plus. That got you. What happens here in San Francisco and on the peninsula, is a lot of people dont have airconditioning. Right. A lot of people there have it. Right. Here, youre not really as prepared as you could be. Right. I live in the east bay. We dont have airconditioning. Were making plans. Ice cream parlor after school and straight to the library.
