The blonde girl on Holiday Burgers’ logo is donning a captain’s hat and making the move to Lake Barkley, where the iconic Hopkinsville restaurant’s owners are opening a second location at Cap’n Jim’s Grill. Sherry Powell, who owns Holiday Burgers with husband Charlie Powell, said they took advantage of an opportunity that presented itself in deciding to open the new restaurant. “Every time we went out to the lake we said, ‘Man, we’d like to have that restaurant,’ ” Powell said of their interest in the location.
