Weather adjusted the schedule, but didn’t keep the Kansas Rowing team from hosting the Big Ten / Big 12 Double Dual, which was held on Saturday morning at Wyandotte County Lake in Kansas City, Kansas.
Kansas Rowing advanced all five boats to the second day of racing and had three boats claim victories at the Sunshine State Invite in Sarasota, Fla. on Friday and Saturday, March 31 and April 1.
In its return to the Head of the Charles regatta for the first time in over 20 years, the Kansas rowing one varsity crew placed 10th out of 40 teams in this prestigious event.
After a 20-year hiatus, the Kansas Rowing team is headed for the New England area to compete at the Head of the Charles regatta on Saturday, Oct. 22, in Cambridge.
