LoveBelfast In celebration of International Women’s Day on Monday 8 th March, the Arts Council of Northern Ireland is shining a light on just some of the many talented women who are working in the Arts in the region. Roisín McDonough, Chief Executive, Arts Council of Northern Ireland, commented,  “ I am delighted to help celebrate IWD and in particular the many women artists that the Arts Council supports. It’s an  opportunity to remember just what the ARTS can do, how powerful the arts are in their ability to challenge, inspire and give women a voice. And importantly, the power of the arts to bring women and communities closer together across the world.
