That has been burning more than a week and the People Living in the area now being able to return home. It has scorched more than 74,000acres. It is now 50 contained. Eightyfive homes have been destroyed. More than 7,000 have been threatened. Ed to people evacuated from the Hidden Valley lake area, will be allowed home to view the fire damage. Butt canyon road also will be allowed back. We are expecting a update coming up. Only 20,000 evacuees were permitted back up to the valley view fire. Flight made an Emergency Landing in oakland after the pilot discovered trouble with that planes landing gear. The plane took off from oakland bound for chicago. Several passengers reported hearing a big grinding noise and a jolt as the plane took off. Then just like the flight today, the plane had to burn fuel over the Central Valley before returning to oakland international. No one was hurt. It was just before noon, emergency crews had received reports of an aircraft in distress. Air Traffic Controllers had lost contact with the plane 12 miles east of Oakland International airport. Dozens of firefighters from Alameda County fire to livermorepleasanton fire centered around this area by nile canyon road after pinging the pilots cell phone. They hiked up dirt roads because they had difficulty getting around in their fire engines because of the muddy conditions. The terrain is very steep. Its been rain ing off and on the entire day. Its muddy. There are a lot of oak trees. Very intermittent areas of grass land and oak trees. So there was a lot of area to cover by foot and by vehicle without anything being available by air. They were searching for about four hours this afternoon. Nothing was available by air boss of low visibility and the thick heavy fog in the area. Ground crews found wreckage of the plane. At one point we did see them use a drone to help pinpoint the aircraft
