Haben, The Deafblind Woman Who Conquered Harvard Law was chosen for the library s 7th annual Lafayette Reads Together program which was created to get community members reading, sharing and discussing the same book. The book was written by disability rights lawyer, author, and speaker, Haben Girma. She has been listed on Forbes 30 Under 30 list, received the 2018 Hellen Keller Achievement Award, and was named a White House Champion of Change by former President Barack Obama.
