Lady Flames Head to Kentucky to Face ASUN Newcomer Bellarmine

Liberty (2-7, 2-6 ASUN) heads to Louisville, Ky., for the first time, taking on conference newcomer Bellarmine (3-9, 2-6) on Friday and Saturday at Knights Hall. The Lady Flames and Knights are tied for third in the ASUN North Division after Bellarmine claimed two five-set wins at North Alabama last week. The Lady Flames are looking to snap a four-match winless streak, as they played their last four matches against ASUN North Division-leading Kennesaw State. Liberty pushed the Owls to four sets in three out of the four meetings. Liberty to Send Chennault, Freece to NCAA Zone Qualifying Meet

Lauren Chennault and Maddie Freece will compete in the NCAA Zone Diving Championships, Thursday and Friday. Liberty will make its third NCAA appearance in diving, sending a pair of divers to the 2021 NCAA Zone A Diving Championship, held this week at Greensboro Aquatic Center in Greensboro, N.C. Liberty freshman Maddie Freece and junior Lauren Chennault be competing for a chance to earn a spot in the 2021 NCAA Division I Women s Swimming & Diving Championships. The meet will begin on Thursday with women s one-meter springboard. Friday will see the three-meter springboard competition, and on Saturday will be platform diving. Chennault and Freece will both be competing in one-meter and three-meter diving.
