Kuemper and Glidden Ralston Girls Roll to Wins on Monday

Kuemper Girls Outlast East Sac on Saturday Afternoon

Kuemper won for the 12 th time in the last 14 meetings with East Sac County but it wasn’t easy on Saturday afternoon. The Knights used two runs, the second coming late in the 3 rd quarter to open up a tight game and held on for the win. Kuemper went on a 15-4 run in the 1 st half to build their largest lead of the game as 23-10 midway through the 2 nd quarter but East Sac wasn’t going away. Kuemper Girls Play Well in Loss to Exira-EHK on Monday

Kuemper fought hard against the Class 1A 7 th ranked Spartans and showed there is no quit in this group of young ladies. The Knights trailed 11-4 midway through the 1 st quarter but answered that with a 12-0 run to go up 16-11. The Spartans responded and tied the game at 16 at the end of the 1 st quarter. After a Kuemper 3 to start the 2 nd quarter Exira-EHK took control with a 16-0 run to lead 32-19.
