Alleged land scam: Missing docket delays illegal farm occupation case

PHOTO: iStock The case relates to the illegal occupation of Portion 41 of Kalkfontein farm after a land claim was lodged by the Mojapelo clan in 1996. Residential sites were allegedly sold to unsuspecting members of the public in 2015 by the so-called Morena Seaka View Home Owners   Eleven people were arrested in connection with the case. The case of 11 people accused of illegally selling residential sites on privately owned land in Dalmada, Polokwane, Limpopo, was postponed on Tuesday because the docket was missing. The accused appeared in the Seshego Regional Court sitting in the Limpopo High Court. Prosecutor advocate Mashudu Mudau said the docket had not yet been forwarded from the Polokwane Magistrate s Court, where the accused last appeared on 13 November last year.
