The Memorial Day wreath laying ceremony in Smyrna featured the new location of the town’s memorial to its military personnel who died in combat. The town’s memorial was moved to a broad expanse of lawn in Lee Victory Park near the Captain Jeff Kuss, USMC Memorial. The military memorial had been in a somewhat cramped spot in front of the Smyrna Town Hall. More than 200 citizens and public officials gathered at the Kuss Memorial to hear the guest speaker, Middle Tennessee State University’s Lt.
