Police prosecutor Stephen Potter said police cornered the 18 year old in a MacDonald s drive through on November 11 before he was charged with using stolen number plates. At 11.45pm police observed a black Holden vehicle travelling though the drive through at McDonald s Currimundi, police parked their vehicle in front, preventing it from leaving, he said. A number of persons were arrested including the defendant. Checks revealed the defendant was the holder of Learner drivers licence at the time and was subject to a demerit point suspension and there was also stolen plates on the vehicle. The court heard the incident occurred just three days after the teen stole fuel from a Kunda Park Puma.
