KATHMANDU, April 9: The Rastriya Swatantra Party has asked MP Dhaka Kumar Shrestha to submit a clarification within 24 hours following the leakage of an audio clip in which Shrestha has allegedly demanded Rs 20 million from businessman Durga Prasai.
Party spokesperson and general secretary Mukul Dhakal said Dr Shrestha has been suspended both as an MP and active member of the party and a final decision on the issue will be taken after the discipline and conduct committee investigates into the matter within the next three days.
