Indigenous Tribal Leaders Forum (ITLF) on Wednesday organised a massive protests rally in Manipurs Churachandpur demanding fulfilments of its core demand of separate administration. Ginza Vualzong, spokesperson, ITLF said, "It has been over six months, and nothing has been done on our demand of separate administration from Manipur government so we of our voice is not heard just within couple of weeks we will set up our self-government, weather Centre recognises it or not we will go ahead. As in a state or union territory, we will set up a self-government that will look into all matters in the Kuki-Zo areas, we have to do this since our voice has not been heard.”
According to the FIR, Muan Tombing, general secretary of the ITLF has been accused of conspiring for waging or attempting to wage war or abetting waging of war, against the Government of India. Further punishment for sedition, wantonly giving provocation with intent to cause riot be committed-if not committed.
