The two-wheeler industry had barely started recovering from the sales slump due to the pandemic. Unfortunately, the lockdown announced in April has hit the two-wheeler sales department, yet again. Just like other brands, KTM has also become a victim to the sales slump and here are the numbers:

Premium motorcycling has gained more importance in the last decade or so as more and more Indians are looking at motorcycling as a weekend activity and not just a means of getting from point A to B. This shift from pure commuter intentions to something more starts right about the Rs 2 lakh mark. Here are the top-selling bikes in April priced between Rs 2 lakh and Rs 3 lakh:

FZ-based FZX, with the brand in no mood to bring the 2021 MT-03 to our shores anytime soon. Sigh!
