Belarus will increase supplies of veterinary drugs to Uzbekistan by 2.5 times, head of the main department of foreign economic activity of the Belarusian Agriculture and Food Ministry Ksenia Meleshko said during a roundtable “Uzbekistan and Belarus, a time-tested partnership” in BelTA’s press center on 19 February.
“The meat industry is a priority in Belarus. The level of self-sufficiency in meat and meat products exceeds 130%. In this regard, we can say that our country has enough resources for shipment of meat products both to the domestic and foreign markets,” Ksenia Meleshko said.
"Despite the considerable distance between Belarus and the Siberian Federal District, we closely work with Novosibirsk Oblast and Irkutsk Oblast. We are interested in promoting supplies to the Siberian Federal District of Russia," Ksenia Meleshko emphasized.
