Reporter witnesses heard terrifying screams and called police. A 6yearold boy walking with his mom near this mailbox was chased and attacked by a raccoon. One man jumped in to action. When i kind of drove up maybe about 5 or 6 feet away from her, i seen this huge raccoon on top could see his red jacket. Reporter danny walls used a painters pole to knock down the animal which had viciously attacked the child. I seen there was a little bit of space between him and the kid but i could see the raccoon biting the kids face. Reporter danny noticed commotion outside and thought a man was attacking a woman. When she came outside, she realized the raccoon. Then he said after it got off of him, he kept hitting it because he didnt want it to get back up and try to attack little kid got attacked by a raccoon.
