The man who would build bridges : Longtime Waukesha County municipal attorney Bill Chapman dies at 90 Samantha Hendrickson, Milwaukee Journal Sentinel © Submitted by James and Krista Chapman Bill Chapman, who died May 19, 2021 at the age of 90, served the Lake Country area as a municipal attorney for over 60 years. Bill Chapman was nothing if not dedicated.  For over 60 years, the Hartland-raised attorney served multiple cities and towns throughout Lake Country, specializing in municipal law. He continued his practice law until just a year before he died on May 19, age 90, at the Shorehaven Health Care Center. That dedication lives on, in the form of a park, the Pabst Farms YMCA, Mt. Olympia, an incalculable amount of legal advice, and the many friends, family and strangers whose lives he changed for the better.
