(ATR) The International Boxing Association attempts to put its best foot forward as the bell rings for the AIBA Men’s and Women’s Youth World Boxing Championships in Kielce, Poland.
The 52-nation international tournament is the first major competition under the new AIBA president Umar Kremlev, who was elected leader of the embattled federation in December 2020. Additionally, Hungarian Olympic champion István Kovács recently stepped in as secretary general on March 22, as AIBA tries to stabilize its governance under close watch by the IOC, which suspended the federation in May 2019.
ISU, Infront Ink Extension - Federations Focus 04/07/21
(ATR) The International Skating Union (ISU) extends its media rights agreement with Infront for another four seasons.
The deal includes coverage in China from the 2020/21 season.
ISU World Short Track Speed Skating Championships 2021 (ISU)
The extension runs from 2023/24 until the end of the 2026/27 season and includes media rights across all territories worldwide excluding Canada, Japan, Korea and the United States.
The partnership includes the annual ISU World, European and Four Continents Championships in Speed Skating, Short Track Speed Skating and Figure Skating, and World Synchronized Skating Championships. It also covers all ISU World Cup Speed Skating, ISU World Cup Short Track and ISU Grand Prix of Figure Skating competitions.

Women’s Rugby World Cup Delay
World Rugby is ready to postpone until next year the Women’s World Cup planned for September to October in New Zealand.
In a statement World Rugby says the uncertainty imposed by the coronavirus pandemic is forcing the change. The board of directors for the federation will meet March 7 to confirm the decision. No dates are proposed yet, but are expected to match the timetable planned for 2021, the transition of the Southern Hemisphere from winter into spring.
Already qualified for the tournament: New Zealand, Australia, Wales, Canada, United States, England, France, South Africa and Fiji. Three more slots are open for other teams to qualify.
