We begin with a startling admission from comedian bill cosby. Cosby once admitted he purchased drugs with the intent of giving them to women he wanted to have sex with. The admission comes in just released Court Documents from a 2005 lawsuit and the lawsuit was eventually settled out of court. So far, no comments from cosbys lawyers. Danielle nottingham reports. Reporter bill cosby testified under oath during a deposition in 2005 that he obtained drugs to give to women. A lawyer asked him this question. When you got the quaaludes, was it in your mind you were going to use the quaaludes you were going to use them to have sex with . Cosby answered yes. The questions from a lawsuit filed by Andrea Constand who and it was settled out of court in 2006. Several claim the comedian drugged them before they were assaulted. I dont remember leaving the club
Different tone against antifa, how the chief of Berkeley Police is reacting tonight to the tensions that erupted in violence. Good evening. Im ken bastida. Im juliette goodrich. The police chief is concerned about the influx of protesters. Reporter the barricades are still up, but this battle at berkeley is over. What we saw today was a very large group of counter demonstrators chase a small contingents of their opponents out of the park. You have been a neonazi. Hey, hey, hey reporter hundreds of Police Officers barricaded the park and protected the tiny group of right wing demonstrators as the much larger group of left wing counter demonstrators pushed in and grew much louder. But they were able to get that line back online so it was not a major emergency but thats the kind of day its been for these folks trying to keep the lights on. Come as the Recovery Efforts continue and just here in Harris County there are more than 1,150,000 homes that were flooded because of that storm. Wow, half a Million People that will be lining up. They have been in texas for a week help withing search and rescue efforts and based on what we are seeing here, they probably havent had anytime to rest.
