We begin with a startling admission from comedian bill cosby. Cosby once admitted he purchased drugs with the intent of giving them to women he wanted to have sex with. The admission comes in just released Court Documents from a 2005 lawsuit and the lawsuit was eventually settled out of court. So far, no comments from cosbys lawyers. Danielle nottingham reports. Reporter bill cosby testified under oath during a deposition in 2005 that he obtained drugs to give to women. A lawyer asked him this question. When you got the quaaludes, was it in your mind you were going to use the quaaludes you were going to use them to have sex with . Cosby answered yes. The questions from a lawsuit filed by Andrea Constand who and it was settled out of court in 2006. Several claim the comedian drugged them before they were assaulted. I dont remember leaving the club. I dont remember driving anywhere else. What i do remember next was waking up naked in a bed alone in a sparkly furnished apartment. I was in no condition to leave, to drive, to say anything. I still he was an older man and i had no business being up there in that position and he had no business doing that to me. Reporter cosby has repeatedly denied the allegations, which date back more than four decades. An Associated Press reporter questioned cosby in december of 2014. Reporter i just wanted to ask if you wanted to respond at all as to whether any of that was true. There is no response. Reporter cosby has never been criminally charged and the statute of limitations has run out for many of the accusations. Danielle nottingham cbs news. One of the women who accused cosby of Sexual Misconduct is janice dickinson. Dickinson said she was drugged and raped by cosby and cosby accused her of lying. In a statement her attorney said it is time for mr. Cosby to stop hiding behind his attorneys and publicists and publicly apologize to miss dickinson and the 46 other women who publicly accused him of sexual assault. At least one person was killed in an ice cave collapsed in northwest washington state. The caves are a popular hiking destination but authorities warn hikers not to go inside. The caves are unstable because of unseasonably warm weather. Four other hikers were injured in the collapse and one is in critical condition. Brian webb reports. Reporter a Recovery Mission will resume later this morning at the big four ice caves 70 miles northeast of seattle. One person was killed when part of the melting cave collapsed. The victims body is still inside. Because conditions of the ice are so dangerous at this point, teams from every mountain rescue and other search and rescue volumes are looking at the condition of the ice to see how safe it is. Reporter monday evening, rescue choppers rushed one woman and two men to a nearby on hospital in serious condition and their injuries from head lacerations to leg fractures. John scott was in the cave moments before the collapse and tried to help. They were definitely being talked to, so they were responsive. Reporter the deadly cave collapse comes just one day after hiker Sarah Solomani captured video of a section of the ice crumbling. By just looking at the cave you can tell its not a safe cave to get in. Reporter no one hurt in that incident but in 2010, an 11yearold was killed here when the ice the size of a minivan fell on her. The forest rangers have warned hikers not to go inside. Two ohio counties are a disaster area as a threemile area is burning with an out of control wire. Eight homes destroyed and three others are at risk of burning. The state has not issued mandatory evacuation orders but about 300 people fled their homes. I noticed some smoke and immediately i was concerned that there might be a fire and i told my family, and within 30 seconds, a neighbor burst through the front door and told us its bad, get everything you with can. The fire started on sunday in bayview located on idahos largest lake. Idaho governor is asking for help from the federal government. The mid section of the United States is facing serious flood threats this morning. Dangerous thunderstorms will target the plains and heavy rainfall could bring flash flooding stood. Heavy rain stranded drivers in missouri on monday. Firefighters stepped in to push cars stuck on flood streets. The flood swept through kansas city during rush hour. Some areas got more than 5 inches of rain in a very short period of time. The system unleashed several possible tornadoes in the kansas city area. The winds sent massive trees crashing into homes and causing damage to roofs and downed power lines left thousands of people in the dark. No injuries are reported. The recording shows the victim beaten and bloodied. A Police Officer was also injured in the melee following a concert on saturday. Police Officials Say its too early to know if race was a factor in the violence. No one has been charged. San francisco officials are defending themselves in the wake of the killing of a woman allegedly by an illegal immigrant. They are under fire after denying a request to lock up Francisco Sanchez who is accused of killing Kathryn Steinle last week. The repeat drug offender had been deported five times. The sheriff karimi says federal immigration agents should have issued a warranty. I am the sheriff. We need a court order or a warrant and i have been told this many, many times and they have yet to produce that document. San francisco is one of dozens of socalled sanctuary cities for illegal immigrants. Steinle was shot and killed apparently random while walking on a sightseeing pier. Florida State University dismissed their quarterback johnson after video showed him punch ago woman in the face. They reacted after this Surveillance Video was released showing this 19yearold striking the woman in a tallahassee bar. The incident happened june 24th. Johnson was charged with a misdemeanor six days later. The prosecutor met with the woman last week and said she still had a black eye from the punch. A Security Threat forced an americanairlines plane to make a Emergency Landing in charlotte. Flight 1865 bound from minneapolis returned to charlottes airport monday after 24 minutes in the air. Charlotte police met the plane after it touched down. They swept the plane with bomb sniffing dogs. 178 passengers were evacuated and walked to awaiting buses. The airline did not describe the nature of the threat. A blown tire on the landing gear gave passengers on a southwest plane a scare monday night. Flight 211 from phoenix to San Francisco was forced to turn around. The pilot landed the plane without incident.
