Belarusian President and Chairman of the 7th Belarusian People’s
Congress Aleksandr Lukashenko appealed to the public for support in the
fight against the threats of terrorism and extremism from the rostrum of the Belarusian People’s Congress on 25 April, BelTA has learned.
Roman Golovchenko said: “The head of state has decided to appoint Sergei Ivanovich Bartosh Agriculture and Food Minister. The relevant presidential decree has been signed. This man knows ins and outs of agriculture. He has demonstrated his skills as a highly qualified, well-trained and competent specialist in various jobs."
The delegation was welcomed by Brest Oblast Governor Yuri Shuleiko, who is responsible for cooperation between Belarus and this Russian region. He expressed confidence that interregional contacts would grow more robust.
