The delegation was welcomed by Brest Oblast Governor Yuri Shuleiko, who is responsible for cooperation between Belarus and this Russian region. He expressed confidence that interregional contacts would grow more robust.
The festival has already traveled to Lida, Orsha, Kobrin, Mozyr, Bobruisk and Soligorsk. Now it is Minsk's turn. The festival will kick start in the capital city of Belarus on 27 August at 11.00 with an excursion program to the Upper Town, the historical center of the city.
The Vytoki cultural and sport festival kicked off in Kobrin with an excursion program and a round table on “Promotion of historical and cultural heritage” in the Suvorov Military and Historical Museum.
