- Kiwanis Club of Traverse City recognized these Traverse City West Senior High School seniors during the week of May 7: Lauren Tkach is a member of National Honor Society,
- Elise Powis, of Traverse City, was inducted into the Blue Key Honor Society at the University of Alabama. Powis was also inducted into the university’s Mortar Board Honor Society.
