Breaking news. An airplane in pieces. Tonight search crews look for more rec damage in the waters off breezy point. The small plane is believed to have gone down about a mail and a half off shore. Cbs2s Valerie Castro is live. Valerie, whats the latest . Reporter kristine, right now this is a very active operation. Behind me you can see the search efforts that are now getting underway to look for more debris from that plane and anyone who might have been on board. Initial reports are that the small possibly twoseater plane went down off breezy point just before 8 00. Here are some pictures that were released by the nypd special ops unit. You can see the debris that looks like a portion of a wing that was found earlier.
