A man accused of shooting dead an aspiring rapper in a robbery following a private car sale today told a jury: I did not murder Miguel Reynolds.
In an impassioned speech, Watson said: I can t take this no more. I ve been on remand for two years for something I haven t done. I m innocent. I ve spent the last two years in prison for something I didn t do.

An alleged killer accused of murdering a man lured from Manchester to Merseyside to buy a car today denied it was convenient his alibi was now dead, a court heard.
Liam Watson is charged with shooting 21-year-old Miguel Reynolds in Netherton, Sefton, as part of a gang-led merciless execution, Liverpool Echo reports.
The jury has heard how the 32-year-old shot [Mr Reynolds] in the neck and from very close range after the victim had chased him and others.
