An alleged killer accused of murdering a man lured from Manchester to Merseyside to buy a car today denied it was "convenient" his alibi was now dead, a court heard.
Liam Watson is charged with shooting 21-year-old Miguel Reynolds in Netherton, Sefton, as part of a gang-led "merciless execution," Liverpool Echo reports.
The jury has heard how the 32-year-old "shot [Mr Reynolds] in the neck" and "from very close range" after the victim had chased him and others.
