Many weddings and corporate events had to be canceled last year during in the heat of the pandemic. Now venues are hoping restrictions will be lifted in 2021.
“We are ready and excited for the future,” says Krystal Fluette, village ambassador for Kirkbride Hall in Traverse City.
Fluette says it’s hard to see brides forced to postpone their weddings:
“2020 was a challenge for everybody as we all know.”
However, this year with the vaccine and a decline in COVID-19 cases, the ballroom is starting to book up once again.
Fluette says, “We have been seeing tons on inquires coming in, we’re getting a lot of 2021 requests for late summer and fall.”
