Charles City Community Development Director Mark Wicks has been elected to the Iowa Association of Chambers of Commerce (IACC) Executive Board of Directors.
Wicks, who manages both the Charles City Area Chamber of Commerce and the Main Street Charles City program, will serve as the IACC Secretary/Treasurer for 2021 as part of a 3-year stint. He has served on the IACC Board of Directors since March 2018.
The IACC, originally known as the Iowa Chamber of Commerce Executives (ICCE), helps enhance the professional development of local chamber executives and professional staff to meet the changing demands on local communities through networking, communication and education. The state-wide coalition exposes its membership to cutting-edge, creative and usable ideas to enhance chamber management, as well as provides valuable networking, expertise and resources.
