Testimony and hearings. Some still think the decision has already been made, but even now Board Members are getting more information from people on both sides of the issue. And that is making the decision even more difficult. Its a struggle, said geri huser, a member of the three person board. I dont like that part of this process. Board members say, regardless of their decision, these companies will want to transport crude oil. Many people weve talked to one both sides will agree. The board is being very deliberate throhout this whole process. Its Spokesman Says he believestheyre taking the right steps to get closer to a decision. It sounds like the board is trying to really narrow down the issues that they need to address and theyre asking staff help them do that, said don tormey, the spokesman for the board. Good morning and thanks for joining us. Im lukas voss. We begin this morning with the sioux city teen charged with attempted murder for shooting a police officer. Isaiah mothershed made his first appearance in court yesterday. Via a video feed from the Woodbury County jail. The 18yearold was read his chars. Which include two counts of attempted murder and five counts of first degree robbery. Each carrying a maximum 25 year prison sentence. Mothershed was arrested sunday morning after a lenghty investigation into a string of robberies. Authorities believe hes connected to several crimes, including a Home Invasion where a special needs child was tied up and beaten while others were held at gunpoint. Judge todd hensley says, i would advise you now that you are not required to make a statement and any statement you do make can be used against you at trial.
