I was a member of the tournament committee and arranged for him to attend through my connection with my brother-in-law Steve Brown and a former student of mine, Ron Finucan, in Brantford.
Those three gentlemen are enshrined in the Brantford Sports Hall of Recognition.
Brown was recognized for his involvement in football in the city, Finucan for lacrosse and Walter as a hockey builder in the community.

EDMONTON A local entrepreneur has come up with a unique way for outdoor-enthusiasts to experience Edmonton s river valley. Steven Capp was forced to pause his events business when COVID-19 cases started turning up in Edmonton. That s when he remembered an old idea. I ve always had this idea ever since I had my daughter and paddled down the North Saskatchewan River, Capp told CTV News Edmonton. I had an idea to activate these beautiful islands that are down there with something, I didn t know what. Capp took that idea and created a new glamping experience called Urban River Adventures, in the city s river valley.
