The Supreme Court on Monday issued an interim stay on a Delhi High Court order sentencing Veer Singh, son of chairperson of Max Group Analjit Singh, to three months of simple imprisonment for contempt of court.
The Delhi HC was hearing a plea filed by Max Group founder Analjit Singh s son Veer Singh s wife to initiate contempt of court proceedings against him for flouting and committing a breach of successive orders of the court.
