LEESBURG Gov. Ron DeSantis announced Monday that Florida will soon lower the age requirement for COVID-19 vaccine access.
During his press conference from the Florida State Capitol, DeSantis said the age eligibility for the vaccine will be reduced to include individuals aged 60 and older beginning on March 15.
With this latest change, Floridians eligible to get a coronavirus vaccine: long-term care facility residents and staff, residents aged 60 and older, frontline health care workers, and law enforcement officers, K-12 school personnel, and firefighters ages 50 and up.
