This truck carrying roughly 6,000 chickens overturned and kept part of highway 121 in Sonoma County closed all day. A rollover accident backed up traffic in the daly city area, flooding temporarily closing the northbound 101 connector ramp in San Francisco. And a big rig in fremont crashed into a power pole at auto mall parkway. He cause is under investigation. The message is always going to be slow down, right . Thats the biggest thing. Slow down. I do want to show you theres a large plume of moisture that is aimed directly at the Pacific Northwest where theyre getting some good rainfall. A San Francisco Police Officer is in the intensive care unit tonight after he was critically injured. The officer was on bike patrol when an suv hit him on turk near van ness avenue just before 12 30 this afternoon. The suspect was arrested after a threehour manhunt at ellis and leaven worth street. The car was found abandoned near buena vista park. The officer was rushed to zuckerberg San Francisco general. He was patrolling the tenderloin when he was run down. Everyone is obviously taking it hard. I just spoke with some of the officers from the affected station, and everyone right now is having a tough time with this. So i ask the public to keep the officer in their prayers. The suspects name has not been released, but this is video of him being arrested. He was being investigated for a firearms violation.
