good morning, everyone. happy thanksgiving. welcome to mornings on 2. i m mike mibach. dave is off. i m claudine wong i m i m claudine wong, tori is also off glide memorial will begin serving traditional mile at 9:00 a.m. we ll have live coverage from there in about 30 minutes. morning investigators are on the scene of a stabbing that injured one person and a family pet. we re live with more. reporter: good morning. one woman told us she will be thinking about her neighbor this weekend praying the family is all right. investigators got a call of a stabbing at this house around 9:30. the contra costa county sheriff s department says a man was stab and the family dog, too. we talked to a neighbor out here who says she s lived out here for decades and she says nothing happens out here. i said wow, nothing like this ever happens. i saw the man he was bloody. his legs were moving. just hoping he s okay. detectives are working to see what led to the argument. so far
we begin with tara moriarty. reporter: we ve learned some new information from an employee. he says that the company has actually come under fire for safety violations since the beginning of this year. some of the workers have even been written up for not following proper procedure. he could not tell us if the suspect, the gunman, shareef allman allman, was one of the employees. there was a shift change and then there was an argument and then allman left, went to his vehicle, returned with a gun and started shooting. two people were killed. one person escaped by jumping out the window. we spoke to another employee off camera who described the panic his coworkers his coworkers felt. the next thing i know the s.w.a.t. team is coming up. they come up and secure the stairway and elevator and they brought us out, like i said, ten at a time, and put us in the squad car and flew down the hill. reporter: here s what the scene looked like early their morning. dozen early t
