N.Y. man charged in South Jersey crash that killed 2

Yonatan A. Franco-Aguilar, 24, was driving a Ford Explorer west on Route 540/Welchville Road in Alloway Township just before 10 a.m. on Dec. 13 when the vehicle left the road, police reported last week.
The Ford struck trees and a utility pole, returned to the roadway and overturned. A passenger, Kinder Dineth Pinzon Romero, 27, of Brooklyn, died of her injuries, police said.
The driver and two other passengers, a 6-year-old girl and 23-year-old man, both also of Brooklyn, were hospitalized with serious injuries. The child, identified as Amyelin Zulema Pinzon Romero, later died of her injuries, according to a criminal complaint.
