The 5:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. event aims to celebrate the county’s thousands of farmworkers who made putting food on the table possible throughout the turmoil of the COVID-19 pandemic and the supply chain and inflation issues that followed.
The distribution was an attempt to establish connections with local farmworkers and to encourage them to attend the city’s second annual Yolo Growers & Farm Workers Festival which will be held from 5:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. Friday, Oct. 6 in downtown Woodland.
Winters’ 2023 Festival de la Comunidad “Community Festival” will be held from 3:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. Saturday at the Winters Community Center located at 201 Railroad Ave.
