Reporter kenny, this started when paramedics were treating someone at the Ambassador Hotel in the tenderloin and came out and realized that the paramedics ambulance was between and ended up here at the i80 eastbound offramp. The chp and Fire Department tweeted these pictures as the ambulance was still on fire. It looks like it took a crash and left the road. The driver was arrested on scene. Traffic headed eastbound on the bay bridge was slow going because of the crash and commuters heading into San Francisco from brisbane were even feeling the effects.
