Central Pa. woman who was shot, then charged with tax fraud is now heading to federal prison

Kim Forney has had a rough couple of years.
In September 2018 she was shot in the leg during a domestic violence incident at her York County home. Police officers who responded to that call followed a trail of bloody footprints to a bag filled with cash.
That discovery led to Forney and her husband, Matthew, being charged with tax fraud for skimming roughly $800,000 in cash payments to their business, KP Home Collection LLP, and failing to report that income to the IRS.
