DRACUT The athletic program at Dracut High School has a long and storied history. Over the years, many of Dracut’s outstanding athletes and coaches have been enshrined in the Dracut High School Athletic Hall of Fame. Their names line the wall outside the high school gymnasium.
Tuesday marks an important date to many Indigenous families, their allies, and the broader community. It's the 16th Annual Valentines Day Memorial Walk. The walk was first organized by Sharon Johnson to honour her sister. But she doesn't do the work alone. She relies on community to help keep it going all these years later. The 15th annual Valentine's Day Memorial Walk in Thunder Bay, Ont., is set to go virtual Monday, and this year will honour missing and murdered Indigenous men and boys as well as women and girls.
