The Kilgore High School Welding team traveled to Huntsville on March 1 to compete in the Hornet Five Welding Call Out competition. Several of the welding students placed in the contest and are advancing to the state competition to be held on May 8 and 9. Chelsi Rocha is the first female welder to ever qualify for state from KHS.
