Syracuse forward Maeva Djaldi-Tabdi is transferring to Miami, the Hurricanes announced Monday morning. The redshirt junior is the third Syracuse player from the 2020-21 roster to announce a transfer to an Atlantic Coast Conference foe.
Including her redshirt year, Djaldi-Tabdi spent four seasons with the Orange, appearing in 89 total games and averaging 7.4 points, 3.8 rebounds and 1.2 blocks per game. Djaldi-Tabdi joined nine other SU players from this year’s roster in the transfer portal, and became the fourth to announce her new destination.

Syracuse, N.Y. Maeva-Djaldi Tabdi, who spent the last four seasons with the Syracuse women’s basketball program, will transfer to the University of Miami, the school announced Monday.
Djaldi-Tabdi, a senior forward, appeared in 89 games for the Orange, averaging 7.4 points, 3.8 rebounds and 1.2 blocks per game.

Former Syracuse guard Kiara Lewis is transferring to Clemson, according to a release from Clemson Athletics. Lewis led the Orange in points per game (14.0) and minutes per game (37.1) during the 2020-21 season. The redshirt senior entered the transfer portal on March 29.
Last season with Tiana Mangakahia sidelined due to breast cancer, Lewis led SU in points per game (17.6) and minutes per game (37.6) as well. She was named All-Atlantic Coast Conference First Team after starting in every game of the 2019-20 season.

Former Syracuse guard Taleah Washington is transferring to Old Dominion, she announced in an Instagram post on Friday afternoon. Washington entered the transfer portal on March 26 and was among nine other current Syracuse players whose names were in the portal.
Washington was also one of the four Syracuse players who sat out of the ACC and NCAA Tournaments due to an unspecified violation of team rules. All four including freshmen Kiara Fisher, Khamya McNeal and Faith Blackstone are in the transfer portal, too. Washington played in 13 games for the Orange this season and averaged 1.6 points per game. In 2019-20, she averaged 3.2 points and 10.7 minutes per game.
