In the series of brutal revelations, Bright said that she shot Jasmine before turning the gun on Jeffrey, who begged, Please don t shoot, I m gonna call the police, according to the complaint. When the gun didn t fire, Bright told police that she fixed the trigger before shooting the teenager in the face, the complaint said. And after shooting Jeffrey once, he still survived the shot, according to the complaint, so Bright told police that she fired the gun again because she didn t want [him] to suffer, The Tribune-Review reported. Bright also admitted that she shot her daughter while she was lying in bed in an upstairs bedroom.

Bright told dispatchers she shot her children and that the gun used in the attack was unloaded on her dining room table. She later admitted shooting one of her children while they were lying in bed, according to the complaint.

She then went downstairs and pointed the weapon at her second child, who pleaded with her not to pull the trigger, saying
Mother accused of shooting, killing two children in Ambridge home
AMBRIDGE A Beaver County mother is accused of killing her two children at a Maplewood Avenue home Monday afternoon.
Krisinda Bright, 48, of Ambridge, is charged with two counts of criminal homicide after investigators say she shot and killed Jeffery Bright, 16, and Jasmine Cannady, 22, at a residence the three shared. The 16-year-old victim was a transgender Ambridge Area High School student, according to friends and county officials.
Both victims died of gunshot wounds to the head. Beaver County Coroner David Gabauer has ruled their deaths a homicide.

According to a criminal complaint, Krisinda Bright called 911 around 1:30 p.m. to report she had shot two people. She told the dispatcher the gun was unloaded and on the dining room table.
A woman has been alleged of shooting her two daughters inside their home at Ambridge on Monday, according to Ambridge police.
The shooting happened at Maplewood Ave. Police said that they found inside the home two women dead. An adult female, later identified as Krisinda Bright, 48.
Bright was arrested for shooting, according to Interim Chief John Deluca. Deluca said, the suspect was the one who actually called 911, according to a WPXI News report.
Bright is facing two counts of homicide. She is currently held at Beaver County Jail without bond.
