Fire crews from five different agencies were called out to a brush fire amid scorching temperatures just after 4 in the afternoon saturday. The fire broke out on the side of the westbound 37 freeway in novato but traffic wasnt impacted. They had the Golden Gate Bridge all to themselves. North boun traffic was shut down with only one southbound lane open. Drivers have intentionally driven into crowds of pedestrians. They didnt want anything like that here at the Golden Gate Bridge. So they closed thousand north bound lanes so pedestrians, runners and vehicles wouldnt mix. It started just after 7 00 on addison street between sacramento and acton and put out smoke that could be seen for miles.
