KHON KAEN: A lone gunman who killed two young men at a village in Khok Phochai district on Wednesday night.
The fatal shooting occurred about 9.30pm at Ban Khok village in tambon Ban Khok, Pol Lt Col Yutthaya Termphol, investigation chief at Khok Phochai, said.
Police called to the scene reported finding Korkiat Chanasri, 18, dead with a gunshot wound to his head. He was lying on the ground underneath a house raised on stilts. The owner was away at the time of the shooting.

KHON KAEN: Three people were injured in a head-on collision between two pickups caused by water buffaloes crossing a road in Mancha Khiri district on Wednesday.
The accident occurred about 8.30am on Mancha Khiri-Khok Phochai road, Pol Capt Pongpichit Thanapanpakdi said.
According to witnesses, a mother buffalo and her male calf ran out in front of a Ford Ranger heading for Khok Phochai district from Macha Khiri.
