New Delhi: The SDMC (South Delhi Municipal Corporation) inaugurated a Khilona Bank aka a toy bank in the national capital s Najafgarh area. A first of its kind, it aims to serve a philanthropic purpose of providing toys to children whose families cannot afford them.
The bank has been opened in view of the Swachh Survekshan-2021 and was inaugurated by the South Delhi mayor Anamika Mihilesh Singh. The people can donate their toys here instead of throwing them away so that the impoverished children can take advantage of this initiative.
