Our Correspondent Kohima, June 16 (EMN): The Nagaland Assembly Secretariat Staff Association (NASSA) and Joint Action Committee (JAC) on Thursday announced to temporarily suspend its ongoing agitation for three working days from June 17. This decision was conveyed by the JAC Secretary Sezoto Theyo and NASSA General Secretary, Talirenla following a joint meeting held on June 16, after a request was made by the seven-member Parliamentary Committee headed by MLA Dr. Chotisuh Sazo in a joint meeting with the staff association on June 15. Besides Sazo as the chairman, the other members of the committee were Metsubo jamir, Tongpang Ozukum, KT Sukhalu, Mhathung Yanthan, Medo Yokha and Khehovi Yeputhomi. “The committee had assured in the meeting that the grievances of NASSA/JAC shall be addressed positively”, they stated.
