The president called our children thugs. Thats my only son. At the end of the day, i dont want him to be a freddy gray. We all need somebody to lean on good morning, everyone. I am Carol Costello. Thank you so much for joining me. I am live in baltimore once again today, and that curfew kicked in uneasy peace has taken hold. Nearly an hour after the 10 00 p. M. Curfew police fire smoke canisters and pepper bullets and chase away an unpeaceful crowd. The citizens are safe. The city is stable. We hope to maintain it that way, and we do not have a lot of movement throughout the city as a whole so the curfew is in fact working. The city reopens its Public Schools and the Baltimore Sun calls it unsettled peace. And guardsmen are immobilized and other Police Departments from around the state and beyond,
protests and the thugs who only want to incite violence and destroy the city. they don t have the right to call our children thugs, and these are children who have not been engaged by us, though no. how does that jeff what they did? come on. come on. so calling them thugs, and just call them [ bleep ], call them [ bleep ], no and we don t have to call them by names such as that. the thug word is just like the n word and that anger reflects some of the problems facing the young here in baltimore. kevin shur is a former drug dealer who traded the tough streets for a brand-new life in addition to being a community
