It was a welcomed sight and sound on Taylor Street in fair mount this afternoon. A plow liberating their block from the blizzard of 2016. Some tell me they are surprised it didnt happen sooner. I just thought they were on it. We knew the storm was coming so i thought they could do a little more preparation but you know, its here now so i guess thats hopeful. Reporter in East Mount Airy neighbors decided they couldnt wait for help from the city. They counted on each other. We have to look on the bright side. The more responsibility we give away the angrier well be. This is a time to get together and help each other out. While the city of philadelphia reports 80 of residential roads are passable, the Streets Department admits this blizzard has been challenging. Thats the issue with this storm.
