Police tell us 30yearold daniel reed now a former Maryland Court commissioner thought he was talking to a minor online and it was actually an undercover detective. Jackie is where read was arrested. Reporter i spoke with reads attorney tonight and he maintain his clients innocence and said there were no ill intentions in his communications. 30yearold daniel read is the second maryland commissioner charged with a crime in recent weeks. No one answered the door at reads germantown home tonight. Police say read had been talking online with a Montgomery County Police Detective posing as 15yearold boy and read indicated he wanted to have sex with him. Court documents said read arranged to meet him at an mcdonalds on december 3rd but when read showed up he was met by detectives.
