Activities will be held inside of the school from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. May 3, utilizing the gyms, auditorium and cafeteria. Jantz said that the community is welcome to attend the free event, and it will include a raffle and silent auction.
Last year we gave away about $22,000 in scholarships to our Key Club members from Chippewa Valley High School, Dakota High School, the International Academy and L’Anse Creuse North.
The playground, to be built near the main Clinton-Macomb Public Library, will serve everyone equally, including the 4,600 people in Clinton Township who have intellectual and physical disabilities. Ground-breaking is anticipated in the spring.
SHELBY TOWNSHIP On May 16, six Macomb Township senior high school students were chosen as scholarship winners of the Friends of Macomb Township scholarship. Each student was notified that they had been chosen to receive a $1,000 scholarship toward their educational futures.
